Loopy walked into the castle.

Everything was giant!

The door was giant.

The table was giant.

The chairs were giant.

"This room has giant books! They are bigger than me! What a place!" says Loopy.

Loopy walked into another room.

"This room has giant paintings! They are beautiful! But where is everybody?" asks Loopy.

Loopy walked into one more room.

And in this room, he saw something very special.

"This room has a golden egg! It is so shiny and beautiful!" says Loopy.

Just then, Loopy heard big, heavy footsteps.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. Someone was coming!

"Fee, fi, fo, fum! Who comes to my home?" asks Giant Bird.

"Hello! My name is Loopy. I climbed the beanstalk. Please do not be angry!" says Loopy.

"Angry? I am not angry. I am... happy! No one has visited me in a long, long time," says Giant Bird.

"You live here all alone? Are you not lonely?" asks Loopy.

"Yes, I am very lonely. I have this big castle. I have my golden egg. But I have no friends," says Giant Bird.

"I will be your friend! And I have lots of friends at the pond. You can visit us!" says Loopy.

"Really? You want to be my friend? But I am so big. And I am very clumsy," says Giant Bird.

"That is okay! Friends come in all sizes. My friend Gaga is clumsy too!" says Loopy.

"Thank you, Loopy. You are very kind. I want to give you something. Please take this golden egg. It is a gift of friendship," says Giant Bird.

"A golden egg! Thank you! I will treasure it forever. Now, let me show you the way down!" says Loopy.

Loopy and the Giant Bird climbed down the beanstalk together.

Down, down, down!

"Down, down, down! Hold on tight! We are going past the clouds!" says Loopy.

"Oh! I can see the ground! It has been so long! And is that... a pond?" asks Giant Bird.

Down, down, down they climbed.

Past the birds. Past the trees. All the way to the bottom.

"Look! Loopy is coming back! And... and... what is THAT?!" says Gaga.

"It is a giant bird! A real giant bird! And Loopy has a golden egg!" says Bubbles.

Everyone gathered by the pond.

The Giant Bird was shy at first. But Loopy's friends were very kind.

"Welcome to the pond! I am Bubbles! Do you like flowers? I can show you the garden!" says Bubbles.

"I am sorry I said the seed was silly, Loopy. That seed was really magic!" says Gaga.

"This pond is beautiful. And you are all so friendly! I am so happy!" says Giant Bird.

"Loopy, you were very brave today. You climbed so high, and you made a new friend," says Mother Duck.

"The golden egg is a wonderful treasure. But I think the best treasure is a new friend," says Loopy.

"That is right, Loopy. The best treasures are friends. You can always share adventures together," says Mother Duck.

And so, Loopy made a new friend that day.

The Giant Bird visited the pond often.

They played together, ate together, and laughed together.
