Loopy ran into the forest.

He found Big Bear.

The big bear was caught in a net.

The rope was thick and strong.

"Little duck? Is that you?" asks Big Bear. "You cannot help me. This net is too strong. The rope is too thick. You are too small!"

"I am small, but I can try! My beak is small, but it is sharp!" says Loopy.

Loopy bit the rope again and again.

Bite, bite, bite.

It was hard work.

"You are welcome, Big Bear! Being small is not bad. Being kind is what matters!" says Loopy.

"Can we be friends?" asks Big Bear. "I do not have many friends. Everyone is too scared of me because I am too big."

"Of course! You are not too big to be our friend!" says Loopy.

They all walked back to the pond together.

Big Bear met Mother Duck.

"Welcome, Big Bear!" says Mother Duck. "Loopy told me about you. Any friend of Loopy is a friend of ours."

"Thank you," says Big Bear. "I learned something today. Big or small, everyone can help. And everyone needs friends."

"That is right," says Mother Duck. "No one is too small to help, and no one is too big to need a friend."

"Big Bear, can you give me a ride on your back? Please?" asks Gaga.

Big Bear laughs. "Ha ha! Of course! Hop on, little duck!"
