1. About This Page

This page explains how to delete your Loopy AI account and personal data. The process below applies whether you signed up with an email address or through a third-party account (such as Google).

2. How to Request Deletion

Follow these steps to submit a data deletion request:

  1. Email privacy@loopyai.app from the email address registered with Loopy AI
  2. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Include your registered email in the message; if you use a third-party login, also mention the provider (e.g. Google)
  4. We will complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request and confirm by email

3. What Gets Deleted

Once your request is processed, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account data (email, name, avatar, preferences)
  • Learning records (course progress, vocabulary book, review history, quiz and exam attempts)
  • Voice recordings and pronunciation assessment history
  • Notes, messages, and AI conversation history
  • Subscription and payment method links (see retention note below for payment records)

Transaction and invoice records we are legally required to keep (e.g. for tax regulations) are deleted once the statutory retention period expires and are not used for any other purpose in the meantime.

4. Third-Party Login Note

If you sign in through a third-party account such as Google, disconnecting Loopy AI on that platform does not delete the data stored in Loopy AI. Please submit a deletion request using the process above.

5. Partial Deletion

If you only want specific data removed (for example, all voice recordings) while keeping your account, let us know in your email and we will handle it accordingly.
