Ben is surprised by his students, so he decides to continue the experiment.

Soon, The Wave spreads through the whole school.

It promises power, equality, and community.

However, Ben's student, Laurie Saunders, doesn't trust The Wave.

She finds out the truth about the group and writes about it in the school newspaper.

Sadly, that puts Laurie in danger because some people don't like her comments.

The Wave is out of control, and Ben doesn't see it.
