Getting started

What is Loopy?
An AI-paced English practice platform built around five learning modes — comprehension, vocabulary, shadowing, dictation, and quiz. You read a course in the morning, drill cards on the bus, let AI score your pronunciation at lunch. Over a week, the same vocabulary circles back through all five.
Is there a free trial?
Seven days of full Premium, no credit card required. When the trial ends, your account keeps working as free — you can still browse every course — but practice requires a subscription.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation takes one click inside Stripe's customer portal. Your access stays active until the current billing period ends, then quietly stops.
What devices does it run on?
Any modern browser — desktop, tablet, or phone.

How the learning works

What are the five learning modes?
Comprehension (read with translation and audio), Vocabulary (spaced-repetition flashcards), Shadowing (AI-scored pronunciation), Dictation (type what you hear), and Quiz (short checkpoint). You don't have to use all five — but the system gets better at scheduling review when you do.
How does the memory curve work?
Every word you learn is scheduled for review based on how hard it felt. Words you got instantly come back in a week; ones you paused on come back tomorrow. The aim is to meet each word again right before you'd forget it.
What if I get something wrong?
Nothing penalising happens. The word just gets scheduled sooner. Mistakes are the signal the system uses to decide what to show you next — they're useful, not shameful.
What's the weekly learning letter?
Every Monday, subscribers get an email that reads like a letter from a tutor who's been paying attention — what you practiced, what's sticking, what's slipping, and one concrete suggestion for the week ahead.

Billing & refunds

How much does it cost?
US$13/month or US$99/year (about US$8.25/month — saves 36%). Prices are localised for Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Same features. Yearly is a commitment that saves 36%. You can switch between them anytime through the subscription portal; Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
Do you offer refunds?
You can cancel anytime and stop the next renewal. We don't routinely refund partial periods, but if something feels wrong — write to us. We read everything.
What payment methods do you accept?
All cards Stripe supports globally — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB — plus Apple Pay and Google Pay depending on your region.
