Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge Is Touring Again This Summer

Kathy Sledge is a famous musician from the group Sister Sledge.

The group had many big hits in the disco era.

Some of their most popular songs are We Are Family and Lost in Music.

Kathy and her three sisters started the group as children in the 1960s.

The four sisters grew up in Philadelphia in the United States.

They first played music at churches and local events.

Their first hit song came in 1973 in the United Kingdom.

But their biggest hits came later with help from two famous producers.
